Barnacle Geese over the Solway Sterling Silver Plate hallmarked London 1974 offered for sale by Silver2treasure.

This is a lovely Solid Silver Boxed Limited Edition Collectors Plate. This plate has Barnacle Geese over the Solway etched in sterling silver and is an original work of art created by Peter Scott and is entitled "The Peter Scott Christmas Plate 1974". It comes complete with its white presentation box which has a scarlet lining to the inside and also comes with a little brown felt pouch which also acts as a cleaning cloth. It also comes complete with the certificate of authenticity and an information page. In addition to the presentation box it also still has the original outer box. Makers Marks: JP (John Pinches).

Dimensions: 8 inches in diameter and it weighs 193g.

Condition: It is in very good conditon and so to is the presentation box inside and out.

Remarks: A very nice solid silver boxed collectors plate and superbly etched with Barnacle Geese created by the famous Ornithologist, Conservationist and Artist Sir Peter Scott. A pretty plate that would look impressive if hung on any wall.
