Silver Salt Spoons Hallmarks Sheffield 1913 by James Dixon ans Sons offered for sale by silver2treasure.

This is a pair of Solid Silver Salt Spoons. They have the Old English pattern to the back of the handles. They do have an armorial engraved at the top of the handle but I am not sure what the picture is but underneath in a banner it reads "Vive Ut Vivas". Please see the paragraph below relating to additional photographs where you will find a photo showing this. They both have clear hallmarks

Assay Office: SHEFFIELD

Date: 1913

Makers Marks: JD & S (James Dixon & Sons Ltd)

Dimensions: 2.5 inches long in total the bowls just under 0.75 inch in diameter. They with a total of 9g

Condition: They are in good condition but they do have some surface scratching (particularly to the bowls) which is only to be expected on metal items, but these are still very good useable salt spoons

Remarks: A good pair of solid silver salt spoons.
