0

Silver Tablespoon Georgian Hallmarks London 1813 offered for sale by silver2treasure.

This is a good Antique Solid Silver Georgian Tablespoon. It has the Old English pattern to the back of the handle. It does have 3 entwined very fancy initials engraved in the top of the handle which I think read "JJB". It has crisp clear hallmarks

Assay Office: LONDON

Date: 1813

Makers Marks: SH (Soloman Hougham)

Dimensions: Just under 8.75 inches long in total, the bowl 3 inches long and just under 2 inches wide at its widest point. It weighs 63g

Condition: It is in very good condition with just some very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item

Remarks: A very good antique Georgian 196 year old solid silver tablespoon. A great useable item or it will be of particular interest to collectors of good Georgian silver. I do have an identical one listed in this section of my ebay shop, so if you would like a matching pair then please do not miss it.
