Silver Spoons Set of 6 Hallmarks Sheffield 1941 offered for sale by silver2treasure.

This is a very good Cased Set of 6 Solid Silver Spoons. They have shaped terminals which I can best describe as having an embossed arrow head shape and they have clear hallmarks. They come in what I believe to be their original box.

Assay Office: SHEFFIELD

Date: 1941

Makers Marks: EV (Viner's Ltd (emile Viener/Viner)

Dimensions: They are just over 4.5 inches long in total, the bowls 1.5 inches long and just under 1 inch wide at their widest. The total weight is 78g

Condition: They are in very good condition with just some very very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on metal items. The box too is in good condition outside with just some light staining to the light coloured material on the inside of the lid, but this is very minor

Remarks: A very good cased set of solid silver spoons and if you did not want to keep them for yourself they would make a lovely Engagement, Wedding or Silver Wedding present.
