This is a very good Antique Solid Silver Victorian Large Sifter Ladle. It has a fiddle pattern handle with the Old English pattern to the back. It has a large circular shaped bowl which has decorative sifter holes (which I would describe as leaf shape). It is made from a good guage of silver

Assay Office: EXETER

Date: 1844

Makers Marks: JS (John Stone)

Dimensions: 6.25 inches long, the bowl 2 inches in diameter and it weighs 43g

Condition: It is in very good condition with just some light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item but this is minor

Remarks: A very good antique solid silver Victorian 165 year old sifter ladle which will be of particular interest to any collector of Exeter silver.
