This is a very good Antique Victorian Solid Silver Cream Ladle. It has a fiddle pattern handle with the Old English pattern to the back and it has an oval shallow bowl. It has crisp clear hallmarks

Assay Office: EXETER

Date: 1880

Makers Marks: J.W & Co (Josiah Williams & Co)

Dimensions: Just under 5 inches long in total with the bowl being 1.5 inches wide and just over 1 inch long. It weighs 21g

Condition: Overall it is in good condition but it does have a very shallow crease to the bowl and a couple of very small dings to the bowl. There is also a little bit of black spotting which can be seen in the photograph however all this is all quite minor and commensurate with age and use

Remarks: A good antique Victorian solid silver 129 year old cream ladle which will be of particular interest to collectors of Exeter silver.
