Silver Spoons 12 Plus Tongs Cased Hallmarked Sheffield 1918  offered for sale by silver2treasure.
This is a lovely Cased Set of 12 Solid Silver Spoons and Tongs. They have a pretty bright cut wavy lined decoration which runs around the outline of the front of the handles and this pattern is on the sides of the tongs. The spoons have egg shaped bowls and are made from a good guage of silver and all have clear hallmarks. They come complete in their original box

Makers Marks: C.B & S (Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd)

Dimensions: The spoons are just over 4.5 inches long, the bowls 1.5 inches long and just over 0.75 inch wide at their widest part. The tongs are just over 3.5 inches long. The whole set weighs a total of 179g

Condition: It is all in excellent condition and so too is the box inside and out

Remarks: This really is a super cased set of 12 solid silver spoons and tongs and if you did not want to keep it for yourself it would make a lovely Engagement, Wedding or Silver Wedding present.
