Italian 925 Silver Key Boxed By Masini Limited Edition offered for sale byu silver2treasure.

This is a Beautiful Large Italian 925 Silver Boxed Limited Edition Key. It is a replica of a classical Italian key from the 1860's - 1870's. It is a large chunky key and is very decorative and includes an 18 carat gold plating decoration , and inset into the very decorative circular top part are 10 pink coloured stones with 5 appearing on each side. To the top it also has a matching pink tassle. It is fully marked and it is numbered 450/499 and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and explanation about the key (in Italian). It comes complete with a very stylish turquoise lidded box which has a silver coloured plaque on the outside of the lid which is engraved "Masini" (which I assume is the maker) and the inside of the lid has "Clavis Nell'Arte e nella Storia" stampedon it

Identifying Marks: The key is stamped with what I can best describe as a pattern of interlocking circles, a Roman man a star 197 and a capital "E" (please see the paragraph below regarding additonal photographs as you will be able so see the marks)

Dimensions: 6 inches long and the top wides part is 1.75 inches wide and 2 inches long. It weighs 115g

Condition: It is in lovely condition and so too is the box inside and out

Remarks: A very pretty boxed 925 silver limited edition key and a beautiful git to perhaps give to someone coming of age.
