Silver Canoe Shaped Dish Small Hallmarked Chester 1903 offered for sale by silver2treasure.

This is a sweet little Antique Solid Silver Small Dish. It is in the shape of a canoe and has two flat bars which resemble the seats. Ideal for use as a little bon bon dish, salt, mustard or it would look very pretty filled with dried or small fresh flowers and placed in the centre of a table. In addition to the hallmarks it is also stamped on the underside of the base "Hamilton & Co Calcutta"

Assay Office: CHESTER

Date: 1903

Makers Marks: S.I.Ld (Stokes & Ireland Ltd)

Dimensions: 5 inches long, just under 1.5 inches wide a its widest middle part and 1.25 inches tall. It weighs 44g

Condition: It is in very good condition with just one very very minor ding to the base

Remarks: A lovely little antique solid silver Victorian 106 year old canoe shaped dish. I do have an almost identical one listed in this section of my ebay shop so if you would like a matching pair then please do not miss it.
