img_9191Silver Salver | Tray | Austro Hungarian Square in shape offered for sale by silver2treasure.

This is a very nice Austro Hungarian Silver Square Salver/Tray. It has cut off corners and the rim has an attractive embossed decoration to it and it is made of a good guage of silver. It does have entwined initials of "BE" engraved to the bottom edge.

Identifying Marks: It is stamped with the head of Diana which has a "3" which denotes that it is 800 standard silver and a "P" for Pest which denotes the Town it was assayed in. There is also a torch/cone shape

Dimensions: 8.75 inches square and it weighs 372g

Condition: Overall it is in good condition but there is some light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a useable metal item

Remarks: A very nice square Austro Hungarian silver salver/tray. It would make a lovely serving tray and also it would be ideal for displaying a small decanter and glasses.

priced at £220 in our ebay store.
