Antique tools and where to find them I was asked recently by a friend of mine. Knowing I visit several auctions in the course of our antique silver business silver2treasure he thought I could give him some advice. Now very stupidly I asked him what kind of antique tools he was referring to.

antique stanley tools,antique tools antique woodworking tools,antique stanley woodworking tools,antique hand tools, antique farm tools, antique carpentry tools,woodshop tools, antique kitchen tools  etc etc etc ................ the list went on and on. Now I fully understand how collectors can get hooked on their subject but I had to interupt him before he passed out due to lack of breath!

I like him dearly but I could not see myself rumaging around in boxes with such a long shoping list. Have you tried ebay I asked?

Now I had forgotten how some people are phobic about computers and the internet. There was no chance he was going to use any computer by himself to feed his passion.

Rather than route around in boxes for him I spent some time showing him how to use ebay as a resource for his collecting hobby. He now is an avid ebay fan and now plagues me with details of his latest ebay bargain!!
