Antique Silver continues to sell well
I am pleased to report sales continue on a high this week from our ebay shop. Development of this website continues with a new glossary page which took ages to complete as I am no touch typist. I have finally settled on this new wordpress theme for this blog.
I will confess to taking Monday off this week to go Bass fishing with my brother and I even took Karen out last night to the cinema to see James Bond in his lates film. Quantum of Solace is its title.
Well it gets a thumbs down from us I am afraid, no more than 3 out of 5. It is a dark fast moving film but the camera work leaves a lot to be desired. You get dizzy just watching as the camera angles jumps from shot to shot. With no "Q", no "Moneypenny" no gadgets for Bond other than a Sony Ericcson phone you can buy today for an extortionate price. The opening car chase was all over the place and the violent fight scenes almost looked like computer games images. The opening song and credits were poor and we came away wondering what the makers had done to the Bond genre.Still it might just have been us.
Back to antique silver, no auctions this week hence I have been working on getting more quality links to this website and listing it in appropriate directories in the hope of getting it well indexed and grow the traffic.
Next week sees another round of auction previews and sales. I do hope to get sometime to add more content here though. If you have any good ideas of sites or directories to use then please comment below.
