Antique Silver Teapot featured item of the week
This is a lovely Antique Solid Silver Large Boat Shaped Teapot. It is of a Georgian style and has a central lined banding decoration and then a half reeded pattern to the bottom. It has a reeded pattern to the top part of the lid and a simulated wooden reeded patterned finial and a simulated wooden handle. This is a large and heavy solid silver teapot. NOW SOLD. This week has seen a major U turn in my website building and views. I had been intending to develop this website into a separate and standalone website having no links at all to ebay. After many hours of work and deliberation I found I was duplicating a lot of effort in running two websites and an ebay shop for effectively one silver business. So I have decided to make Silver2treasure.co.uk an affiliate link website to our ebay Silver2treasure Shop.
I know I am completely making a U turn on earlier decisions but I do not have the hours in a day to complete all three tasks.
This week I previewed an auction at Ashburton, cleaned and booked in another 20 items from last week auction and created 34 pages on the new website! Having retired from a stressful 30 year career in the Police I do not need to put myself under this kind of pressure!
Still the good news is I am really pleased with our new website. It has a lot more development to go but the basic skeleton is in place and through the RSS feed to ebay I do not have to create any stock items myself.
I will confess to taking a day off to visit my brother and go wreck fishing on our boat out of Dartmouth but I am allowed 1day off a week.
Next week I will start a link building campaign to the new website and start photographing and editing the rest of the new stock for Karen to list. The start to this month has been fantastic so far. I have a friend who works in Europe and is paid in Euros. He has had a huge hike in his take home pay due to the lower value of the pound. This is reflected in our current sales with stock going all over Europe including Russia.
