Silver2treasure is launching its new UK website and Antique Silver Blog. Silver2treasure has been trading in Antique Silver online for over 5 years. We have been trading exclusively on ebay and the ebay UK Silver2treasure Shop has grown to be the largest Antique Solid Silver Shop on ebay UK

Using ebay UK we have now achived over 1900 satisfied customer across the world with 100% positive feedback.

So why I hear you ask are we launching our own separate non ebay website for Antique Silver Collectibles?

Well the answer is quite simple, ebay has grown greedy and is no longer the pleasurable trading platform it once was. This year alone has seen multiple changes to policies, 2 price increases to sellers, changes in the search facility and formatting to mention but a few. We are a Powerseller but have seen a sharp decline in the level of customer service and competence in their support staff and with so many changes to their systems we have to speak to them regularly. Ebay announced this week 1000 staff reductions across its empire so I anticipate our support and service will not improve.

All of this has convinced us that the current effort we are putting into ebay is no longer being rewarded.

Hence the need to develop our own website and shop at Silver2treasure.co.uk.  This website will focus on Antique Silver. We will continue to list modern silver in our ebay shop in the meantime. As our new website grows it is our intention to migrate totally away from ebay.

The new website uses existing software  we currently use in our affiliate marketing business at Silver2treasure.com which we are customising to our new non ebay needs. As of today it is in its embryonic state but will grow as we add additional stock and content over the coming weeks.
